Hearts and Hands
The Hearts and Hands group meets the first Saturday of each month for a fun-filled few hours of sewing, piecing and quilting! Some of this time is also spent organizing donated materials -- scrap pieces, yard goods, quilt tops -- into quilt kits for completion by members. Finished pieces are frequently shown at our meetings during Show and Tell. We donate hundreds of quilts of all sizes, blankets, tote bags, etc. to area agencies for distribution where needed. If you would like more information on how to donate material or become involved in Hearts and Hands, please contact us!
Habitat for Humanity
Due to the overwhelmingly positive response to our last Habitat quilt, we continue to collect these blocks on an ongoing basis. When we have collected enough to make a quilt, we will complete another new quilt for a new homeowner.
The Cotton Patch, a local quilt shop, will accept the blocks or you can turn them in at guild meetings. If you have any questions, please call Donna at 296-0242 or Evelyn at 299-9165.
